I still don't have a plausible excuse for my lack of updating lately -- I've quite a bit of work to show and just haven't been able to make the time and effort toward what is required. Finals are next week, except for my Illustration I class, which is this Friday. I am particularly excited about my Short Stories project, but I've only started the first page (of six) of it. I'll try to upload that within time, but it's due on Tuesday (which means my weekend will be spent slaving for Joe Ervin).
In-progress; oddly-sized, and going with me to Austin, Texas for a small art party/show-thing with photographer, artist, and friend Michael Bell, with leader M.C. Lobbmeister as the King.
This is a portion of my Illustration I class' final project. We're to make nine trading cards, and the theme I ended up with is "Scary Victorian Women." Mine are: nowhere near completion, due on Friday. Typical of me.
The series of prints, "Conscience," was sold to Barb Hampton (thank you so much!), but "Confidence" is still up for grabs if anyone is still interested. They come complete with their own customized envelope and a tiny letter, plus the archetypal sketch from which it stemmed.
