I have yet to upload anything (mostly due to lack of time and motivation), and for that I am sorry. I keep getting frustated with this layout and am considering revising it (yet again) before making the commitment to this blog. However, I do have some slightly interesting news:

Rend Lake College's 2009 Annual Student Art Show is being held from March 12th through April 10th in the Theatre Lobby (LRC building). I will have five pieces hanging in it, three of which have never seen the likes of the internet (but will be posted after the show). The opening reception is Thursday, March 12th, with hors d'oeuvres served from 6 to 7 pm, and awards presentation at 7.

I'd love to see anyone there -- it's definitely worth the time spent. A friend of mine (D. Gentles) is submitting his 3D design piece, "Family Turmoil," which is worth seeing all on its own.

Last year, my only submission won "Best in Show" and is featured on the postcard advertisement sent out to all faculty, students, and staff. So, I'm kind of embarassed to show.
